No league markets equal footing in the manner of the NFL: it's their core marketing message. But through the first ten matchups during the current schedule, this is not a competition that is equally balanced among elite teams, poor performers, and average squads. Instead, it's a scenario where the majority of teams is simply fine.

NFC Standings Definition

Looking at the NFC side, to some degree, there is some clarity. The Rams and Seahawks (both at 7-2) seem like the most complete teams across the league, and delivered blowout wins on Sunday. AFC Confusion

In the AFC however, championship race is thoroughly confusing. Your four division leaders through ten weeks: the Colts, Patriots, Broncos (each with 8-2 records) along with Pittsburgh (5-4).
